About Us
Valley Art began in 1966 as an organization to support the Arts in Western Washington County. The association met in a variety of places throughout downtown Forest Grove until finally settling in our current location on Main Street.
In 1987, a down payment to purchase the building was made, and in 1992, the final payment was made to give Valley Art a permanent home.
Valley Art Association operates with an elected Board of Directors who meets monthly. We own our own building and keep it maintained using proceeds from our gallery sales, donations, and annual contributions.
Our newsletter keeps our contributors informed of activities, classes, and special events. Our dedicated volunteers give of their time and talent to provide artists with the opportunity to display and sell their art. It also gives the community a chance to purchase affordable original works.
All work in the sales gallery is juried and we maintain a variety of items to please all tastes. Valley Art Association is a user friendly gallery. We hope you will visit us and find just what you are looking for.
