WHIMSICAL RAINBOW BOX WITH LID with Randi Parkhurst. Tuition $145 + $30 materials fee. Instructor will provide decorative papers and mat board kit.
November 21st from 9 am to 3 pm — In this 1-day, 6 hour workshop students will use mat board and colorful papers to construct a sturdy and beautiful box with a pyramid-like lid and square feet. We’ll work from a kit of pre-cut mat board walls and lid pieces, so there will be very little measuring. Students will learn basic box-making, including how to use a box jig, plus tips and tricks. Randi will provide her own handmade, colorful, leather-like papers for everyone to use. Our pyramid lids will fit onto our boxes with a lip and be decorated with a stack of rainbow squares, topped with a unique paper knob. Maximum 12 students, minimum 6. All levels welcome. Supply list upon registration.
